The immediate past Metropolitan Chief Executive for Tamale, Hon Salifu Sule, has sponsored the digging of  a borehole to help provide a reliable source of water for the current construction of the new NPP party Secretariat in the Northern region currently underway in Tamale. 

The NPP since 1992 has not had a permanent party secretariat, and there is now the urgent need for one that is currently underway at a project site in Tamale. 

Presently,  NPP  faithful  from within and outside the region are donating in kind and in cash towards this historic project. 

Salifu Sule who was also the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Tamale Central constituency in election 2024 and a former Regional Secretary of the NPP, told the Voiceless Media that his gesture was the little he could do to support the project. 

He has, therefore, called on other party members and other former appointees to donate towards the project  irrespective of how big or small their donation would be. 

The digging of the borehole is a direct response to the need for reliable water for the project, which has received high recommendations.

The regional executives of the party, together with other party sympathizers, were  at the project site to witness the digging of the borehole that has since got completed.
