The National Treasurer of the NPP, Dr Charles Dwamena, also known as Dr. China has told the Voiceless media in an interview that the 2028 Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, was a role model worthy of emulation. 

Dr Charles Dwamena stated that he has had a working relationship with the former vice president, who he said was very meticulous in all he does and pays attention to details. 

Dr  Mahamudu Bawumia, he indicated,  was full of rich ideas and innovative strategies that can take Ghana far when he gets elected as President of Ghana in 2028. 

He tauted the Gold for Oil initiative by the former Vice President,  his digitization innovations, and the mobile money interoperability idea as ideas fetching lots of money to cushion the economy of Ghana.

The National Treasurer,  who has since declared his intention to contest for the position of General Secretary of the NPP, assured that when elected as the next General Secretary of the NPP, he would worked closely with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to clock one touch victory for the NPP to enable him implement his rich ideas for Ghana.

Dr Charles Dwamena is generally described as a principled man who insists on the right things to be done at all times.

His intention to contest for the position of General Secretary has been lauded by many, and it is believed that he would be bringing  lots of discipline onto the position when elected.
