Forms for National Executive Positions can be purchased at the following cost

Chairmanship - GHC 50,000 

Vice Chair - GHC 30,000

General Secretary - GHC 25,000 

All other positions- GHC 10,000

Youth Organizers and Women Organizers as well as PWDs will pay 50% of the amount

Forms for constituency positions can be purchased at the following cost

Chairmanship - GHC 1,500

1st Vice - GHC 1,000

All other positions - GHC 500

A person aspiring to contest for the position of Constituency Secretary should have a minimum qualification of a Diploma.

NPP REORGANISATION


The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to undergo a comprehensive reorganisation process aimed at strengthening its internal structures and positioning itself for success in the upcoming general elections. This restructuring is expected to help the party address internal conflicts and emerge stronger, ultimately increasing its chances of winning power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).


REORGANISATION TIMELINE


1. *Membership Drive*

    - Dates: 1st March - 31st March 2026

    - Objective: To recruit and register new members, and update existing members' records.

2. *Verification*

    - Dates: 1st April - 14th April 2026

    - Objective: To verify and validate members' information.

3. *Polling Station Elections*

    - Dates: 10th - 16th May 2026

    - Objective: To elect polling station executives.

4. *Electoral Area Elections*

    - Dates: 10th - 15th June 2026

    - Objective: To elect electoral area executives.

5. *Constituency Elections*

    - Dates: 11th - 12th July 2026

    - Objective: To elect constituency executives.

6. *Regional Elections*

    - Dates: 8th - 9th August 2026

    - Objective: To elect regional executives.

7. *External Branches/Chapters Elections*

    - Dates: 20th June - 19th July 2026 (Branches)

    - Dates: 15th July - 9th August 2026 (Chapters)

    - Objective: To elect executives for external branches and chapters.

8. *National Elections*

    - Dates: 18th - 20th September 2026

    - Objective: To elect national executives.

This reorganisation process is designed to promote unity, inclusivity, and grassroots participation within the party. By addressing internal conflicts and strengthening its structures, the NPP is poised to present a united front and increase its chances of winning the general elections.

 POLLING STATION ELECTIONS: ALL YOU MUST KNOW👇👇

Date: 10th to 16th May, 2026

The Polling Stations elections shall be conducted by *A THREE-MEMBER POLLING STATION ELECTIONS COMMITTEE* appointed by the *CEC.*

Who qualifies to be on *The Three Member Committee*? *ONLY to be selected from the following categories of people:*

1. A Senior Party Member 

2. A Former Party Executive 

3. A Former or Current Assembly Member 

4. A Former MMDCE

5. Former MP 

6. Former PC 

7. An Opinion Leader.

Fees: Cost of Polling Station Forms: Ghc 10

ELECTIONS:

1. Elections must be conducted _ONLY at the Polling Station Meetings are held._

2. Notification must be published *four (4) days* before the election day.

3. Forms can be obtained from the *Constituency Secretariat, Polling Station Elections Committee, or Downloaded Online.*

4. A person must be *nominated by one (1) registered person and seconded by two (2) members in the register.*

5. Elections must be held between the hours of *7am to 5pm ONLY.*

6. Committee Members *cannot* contest.

7. The Committee can conduct *ONLY ten (10)* Polling Station Elections. 

Unless *permission* is obtained from the *National Steering Committee,* no Polling Station Elections Committee can conduct *more than ten (10)* Polling Station Elections.

8. Elections shall be by BALLOT or HEADCOUNT.

9. The Polling Station Secretary must at least be an SHS leaver. 

10. ALL Registered Members in the register at that Polling Station can vote.

11. Any ASPIRANT who is disqualified can file an appeal at the CEC. If dissatisfied, can seek review at the REC. The decision of the REC is FINAL.

NOTE:

All data shall be entered into the NPP Database by the Constituency Secretary, assisted by the Assistant Secretary, Constituency IT and Research Officer, and A Rep of the Member of Parliament.


All data shall be verified by CEC and validated by the Regional Executive Committee.
