Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extensively toured and campaigned in all constituencies, visiting each at least six times over 18 years and five general elections. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the crucial role our party faithful play in our success. Recognizing this, Dr. Bawumia has prioritized measures to recognize, include, and support NPP members, especially at the grassroots level.

According to Dr. Bin Salih, who is a member of the NPP National Council and a former Regional Minister of the Upper West and Upper East Regions, Dr. Bawumia is committed to addressing issues of exclusion and welfare concerns plating our party. To achieve this, Dr. Bawumia proposes:

- *Constituency-Based National Budget*: Ensuring no constituency is left behind in national development

- *Decentralized Appointments*: Reserving at least 10 appointments for each constituency to propose qualified members

- *Digital Database for Party Members*: Acknowledging members' contributions and addressing welfare concerns

- *Welfare Desk at Every Party Level*: Collecting and analyzing data for fair access to resources

- *Targeted Welfare Policies*: Addressing party members' needs with fairness and inclusion

These proposals aim to tackle exclusion and welfare concerns, building a stronger, more inclusive NPP. I urge delegates to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as flagbearer on January 31st, 2026, and let's work together to build a stronger New Patriotic Party.

Dr. Bin Salih is a young veteran who has held various party executive positions in the Upper West Region. He is a loyalist of DMB. He is generally respected in NPP for his commitment and dedication to party activities.
