The Voiceless Media and Consult has, over the past 3 months, been engaging delegates of the NPP who will be voting in the impending presidential primaries on January 31, 2026 on the likely candidate they will vote for.

Whilst our team of researchers dealt directly with some of the delegates, we also deployed an indirect contact mechanism through which we were able to get the data -we can describe as authentic and credible.

We also deployed a research tool unique to the Voiceless Media but which validates our data.

We spoke with godfathers of some of the delegates. We spoke with  political influencers of the delegates for strategic data.

We further spoke with their political best friends, and we also spoke with their political financiers.

We also used a model that we call the worst-case scenario model.

This model uses the barest minimum figures after the various data we received from all 16 regions of the country were tested against our bench mark several times.

May we add that aside from the national percentages that we are publishing today, we have percentages from the regions extracted from constituencies in the regions.

If we were to use the raw data from the constituencies of the regions, the percentage for Dr. Bawumia in particular would have been more than what we are showcasing today.

But as indicated, we used the worst-case  scenario model and tested it against several options, and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia emerged tops in all the scenarios.

We will publish the fine details subsequently, but we can report that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will secure between 55% to 60% in any worse case scenario on the January 31st presidential primaries of the NPP.

Below are the regional percentages for Dr Bawumia as summarized below:

1. Upper West 70%

2. Upper East 55%

3. Savannah 65%

4. North East 90%

5. Northern Region 70%

6. Western 50%

7. Eastern 50%

8. Greater Accra 50%

9. Volta 40%

10. Central 45%

11. Ashanti Region 55%

12. Oti 45%

13. Ahafo 52%

14. Bono East 55%

15. Western North 50%

16. Bono 45

The total of the percentages divided by 16 regions gives us 55%. But from minuses and pluses we did with the raw data we can say safely that 55% to 60% will be what Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will get on January 31st.

We shall publish the full report with full details of all the other aspirants subsequently.
