In this life we live, some people prefer to harvest everything in this world to the detriment of others - knowing very well that others equally deserve same. Yes, I see it in the assertion of *Dr. Stephen Amoah* - former Deputy Finance Minister on the then appointment of *Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam* as Substantive Finance Minister over him. Greed is just killing some people in that upon benefiting from a government, they still think they should have occupied higher positions than what they had, forgetting that others suffered for the party but never had even Toilet Manager's position. 

I can equally see jealousy in Dr. Stephen Amoah's divine revelation. But as a politician he must understand that all cannot occupy one position at the same time and this one will relieve him of some jealousy trait in him. Undoubtedly, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will be picked for any position over Dr. Stephen Amoah on merit any day.

When you fail to appreciate favours done you, bitterness takes the center stage when someone is elevated above you. Mind you, bitterness eats you up as long as you harbour it against someone. It is obvious that in the case of Dr. Stephen Amoah against Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, bitterness doesn't hide, it gets exposed with time.

I don't really blame Dr. Amoah because a man with self-entitlement mentality thinks that it should either be him or nobody else. Yes, that is the way such people think. It is a very dangerous mentality in that they will always find a reason to think so and that persons will continue to be bitter and harbour hatred against innocent souls who have opportunities to be elevated above them. 

Dr. Amoah knows very well that the appointing authority was not *Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia* , the then Vice President of Ghana but *Nana Akufo-Addo* , the then President of Ghana but due to sheer hatred, he is attributing his then 'predicament' of not being appointed as a Substantive Finance Minister to the innocent Dr. Bawumia. Dr. Amoah must know that Dr. Mohammed Amin was appointed base on competence but not his geographical origin. 

What makes me scary is how he has carried this bitterness all that while, even after NPP lost power a year ago. I am just wondering how he will continue to harbour this self-entitlement mentality in this journey of politics. I believe he will soberly reflect and come to realization that everybody has equal chance of occupying any vacant position in this game of politics meritoriously irrespective of ones orientation.
