15 FORMER MMDCES IN THE SAVANNAH REGION HAVE ENDORSED DR MAHAMUDU BAWUMIA

15 former MMDCEs in the Savannah Region have declared their support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the NPP presidential primaries.

In a statement issued by the 15 former MMDCEs, they made it categorically clear that their support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the other contenders was not based on tribalism or religious considerations but based on their working know of Dr Mahamadu Bawumia as former Chief Executive officers of their Assemblies. 

They explained that Dr. Bawumia was competent and brought several ideas to help the country when he was vice president. 

They mentioned Ghana Card, digitization, mobile money interoperability,  oil for gold, and the digital address system in Ghana as a few examples.

The former MMDCEs also indicated that the Vice President was humble,  accessible and tolerant of his opponents, which, according to them, was a  positive leadership attribute.

The former MMDCEs have made it clear that their declaration also means a call to action and they were to go round the entire Savannah Region to mobilize votes for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 31st January,  2026 Presidential primaries.

There has been an avalanche of support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in recent times, and political observers have translated this to mean an overwhelming victory at the polls.
