Six Parliamentary Candidates of the NPP in  Bono East Region have declared their total support for Dr Bawumia ahead of the NPP Presidential Primaries slated for January 31, 2026.

The  six are:

1. Baduon Dimmie Issah Abu  -Atebubu Amantin constituency      

2 .Harriet  oppong kyeremanteng - Nkoranza South.   

3. Jacqueline Boatema Boateng-  Nkoranza North.       

4. Stephen Jalula - Pru West.       

5. Martin Oti Gyako -Techiman North

6. Isaac  Baffoe Ameyaw - Kintampo North

Speaking to the Voiceless Media in an interview, the leader of the group, Hon Bandoum Issah Dimmie Abu  of the Atebubu Amantin constituency, explained that they have been in the NPP over the years and know that the heartbeat and pulse of the NPP are heading towards Dr Mahamudu Bawumia hence their declaration of support. 

He also explained that Dr Mahamadu Bawumia was very popular amongst the electorate, and presenting him for election 2028 will fasttrack the victory of the NPP.

Hon Baduon disclosed that his group was embarking on a delegates engagement trips in the constituency and was convinced that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia won't get less than 70% in the constituency on January 31.
