Owusu Bempah's Political Amnesia: When Opportunism Masquerades as Principle - Expose of a Serial Flip-Flopper

Mr. Owusu Bempah, former PRO of Ghana Gas and current NPP national executive, has suddenly found his voice—not for building the party, not for uniting our ranks, but for hurling insults at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB). In his recent rant, he called DMB a “liar” and a “flip-flopper.”

Let’s take your accusations one by one—and expose the man behind the noise.

Accusation 1: DMB is a “liar.”

Really? Coming from you, this is almost comedic. You enjoyed an eight-year appointment under the very leadership you now smear. If what DMB represented were truly “lies,” then you, sir, are the poster child of beneficiaries of those so-called lies.

You happily ate from the table, wiped your mouth, and now pretend you never dined there. That’s not honesty—it’s opportunism at its purest form.

Accusation 2: DMB is a “flip-flopper.”

Flip-flopper? Mr. Bempah, your entire political CV is a history book of flipping and flopping.

NDC ➡ NDP ➡ NPP—you’ve treated political parties like bus stops, hopping off whenever the next ride looks better.

You left the NDP in shambles, and now it seems your eyes are set on undermining the NPP from within.

If party loyalty were an exam, you’d have repeated class every year.

Before you lecture anyone about consistency, check your own political passport—too many stamps, too little principle.

Accusation 3: DMB cannot be trusted.

Trust is built on loyalty, service, and sacrifice—three words you can’t claim with a straight face. DMB has served the NPP faithfully through victories and defeats. You, on the other hand, only show up when there is an appointment to grab or a platform to hijack.

You didn’t just cross the carpet—you wore out the carpet with the number of times you’ve crossed it.

The Real Issue: Your Political Credibility is in Shreds.

You were handed the Ghana Gas PRO job ahead of seasoned, loyal party members who had sacrificed blood and sweat for the NPP. Instead of gratitude, you now repay the party with public sabotage.

Your elevation was a gift. Your current position is a privilege. Yet you behave as if the party owes you more, while you owe it nothing.

To Kennedy Agyapong and His Camp—A Word of Caution.

If this man is hovering around your circle, watch him closely. History shows he leaves destruction in his wake. Today, it’s DMB; tomorrow, it might be you. Don’t hand a matchbox to the man who has burned down every political house he’s entered.

Final Word to Owusu Bempah.

Stop the grandstanding. Retract your baseless attacks on DMB. The NPP is a family, but no family tolerates a relative who keeps poisoning the food at the table. If you persist, we will peel back every layer of your political history for the public record—dates, names, events. Nothing will be left to speculation.

You think people have forgotten your past? We remember everything. And when we speak, we won’t speak in whispers—we will speak with hard, cold facts.

This is your warning:

Loyalty is not a game. Politics is not a personal ATM. And the NPP will not be your next political casualty.

Enough of your noise. The party’s progress is bigger than your ego.
