Fellow Party Members I bring you warm greetings of peace, unity, and renewed commitment to the cause of our beloved

party.

On August 16, 2025, the Acting National Chairman issued a historic directive granting General

Amnesty to all members who had been suspended or were facing disciplinary proceedings. The

letter made it clear that “all such suspensions are hereby nullified, and affected members are

reinstated in good standing with immediate effect.” This decisive action, taken in the spirit of

reconciliation and unity, has restored my mandate as your Constituency Chairman. I wish to

express my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman and the National Executive Council for

this swift and magnanimous decision, which clearly demonstrates their dedication to fostering

cohesion and strengthening our great party.

I also wish to sincerely thank all our polling station executives, constituency executives, regional

executives, and the rank-and-file members of our party who remained patient and steadfast during

this period. Your resilience and loyalty to the party ideals have not gone unnoticed, and I count it

as a privilege to once again serve as your Constituency Chairman.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the interim chairman and executives who held

the fort during my absence. Let us now, in the spirit of the National Chairman’s directive, put

behind us all misunderstandings and focus on building a stronger, united front. The same directive

also reminds us that no executive at any level should impose suspensions outside the party’s due

process. I fully embrace this call and pledge to uphold discipline, fairness, and inclusiveness in my

leadership going forward.

Therefore, in line with the National Office’s directive, I urge that a brief handing-over process be

organized for the interim chairman to officially return authority to me as the substantive

Page 1 of 2Constituency Chairman. I further call on all officers, from the polling station through to the

constituency and regional levels, to immediately accord me full recognition in this capacity.

As I resume this responsibility, I humbly call on every stakeholder, from our hardworking polling

station executives, through the constituency and regional officers, to our respected Council of

Elders, to lend me your full support. Let us work together with renewed vigor, in unity of purpose,

to move the Tamale North Constituency to the next level of progress and to strengthen the

foundations of our party in preparation for victory in the years ahead.

Together, with faith, discipline, and unity, we will make our constituency a model of commitment

and strength for the entire party.
