In a contest for  the flagbearership, he fed the opposition NDC with every grenade they needed to bring down his own party.

Grenade K1: “They Didn’t Come to Serve, They Came to Chop!”

Branding Commentary:

He branded the NPP as looters, handing the NDC their 2024 campaign message on a silver platter.

Grenade K2: “Elections? Rigged Before They Even Began!”

 “If they cheat me, the party will not recover from what I’ll say.”

Branding Commentary:

He sowed distrust in NPP’s internal democracy; poisoning the well before the people could even drink.

Grenade K3: “Loyalty Means Nothing – Threats Win Respect!”

 “I’ll expose everything. They’ll regret it.”

Branding Commentary:

A declaration of war - not just on leadership, but on the party he claims to love.

Grenade K4: “Mahama Is More Human Than My Own Party”

 “Mahama cares more about people than the NPP leadership.”

Branding Commentary:

He emotionally endorsed Mahama and the opposition in real time, handing them the human face he denied his own party.

Grenade K5: “They Sent GRA to Cripple My Businesses”

 “They are using GRA to collapse my companies, just because I stood up!”

Branding Commentary:

He likened the NPP to a mafia state; eroding trust, investor confidence, and the rule of law.

Grenade K6: “Appointees Are All Corrupt, Looting Like There’s No Tomorrow”

 “They’re stealing and buying properties abroad... looting the country as if there is no tomorrow.”

Branding Commentary:

With that one line, he handed the opposition moral high ground - painting NPP as irredeemably corrupt.

Grenade K7: “They Tried to Buy Me Off - I Said No”

“They offered me $800 million to step down for Bawumia.”

Branding Commentary:

He suggested Bawumia’s rise was bought - not earned. It wasn’t just an allegation. It was a nuclear strike on legitimacy.

POST-ELECTION BALLISTIC

“They said don’t bring a Muslim. We didn’t listen. Now we’ve been humiliated.”

Branding Commentary:

He didn’t blame policy, or message, or mistakes; he blamed  religion!

A sectarian jab unworthy of a national leader. And dangerous.

FINAL REFLECTION

He lit the match.

He spilt the petrol.

He danced around the fire.

And now that the party burns, he wants to play firefighter?
