The Voiceless Media after weeks of investigations can now confirm that Ambassador Mohammed Habib Tijani shall contest for the position of Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP when nominations are opened.

This development has been received with excitement and happiness in all 18 constituencies of the Northern Region as a result of the political track record, discipline, firmness, integrity, and credibility of Ambassador Habib Tijani.

Hon Habib Tijani has both political and administrative experiences to brighten the fortunes of the NPP in the Northern Region as a regional chairman.

He previously served as constituency secretary for the NPP in the Yendi constituency for two terms. (8 years).

He also served as the Municipal Chief Executive of the Yendi Municipal Assembly for 8 years.

Hon Mohammed Habib Tijani also served as the Member of Parliament for the Yendi constituency for eight years.

He also served as a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and recently served as the Ambassador of Ghana to Saudi Arabia.

In each of the positions Hon Tijani served, he excelled.
He distinguished himself creditably and became the rallying point for several developmental interventions.
