Breaking news:

THE 'BLUE OCEAN' IN THE POLITICAL OUTER SPACE SHOULD BE UTILIZED Benjamin Ntim Gyakari advised the NPP

Some may argue that the political space in Democratic governance lies outside the structural system defined by the party as an organization, but are we into politics to satisfy humanity and make life comfortable for the citizenry or holders of key political positions?

Politics in Africa have ceased to be a reputational building endeavor and therefore commitment to it's course have been marginalized into money making venture.

*The highest bidder carried the day among other factors*

During NPP's

internal primaries  we were witnesses to how monies were flying within the internal space limited to only less than 1% of its voters to win elections.

*The strategic instrument to measure an Aspirant' scores then, was based on Green, Yellow and Red.* These categorization of Delegates to give monies turned to be the rhythm of the night before the election day.

But what impact did it have on the outer space? - hatred, acrimony and its final consequence was Apathy.

*Not until NPP revisit its Delegation system we will encounter the challenge of offending majority of voters in the outer space including strong members who were not privilege to become Polling Station Executives.*

Simply put let us expand the Electoral College to make sure every card bearing member in good standing becomes part of the decision making process.

*It is now the blue colour*

Yes, our leaders tend to demonstrate that they must win power at all cost, so they tried every mechanism, be it rituals or practical strategic means......but to me, diversification is key to growth:

✓ Sell and share your vision to the masses with effective marketing communication approach by making sure it gets to every corner of the political outer space

✓ Obtain the commitment of the people to the initiatives and let them be active participants.

✓And remember, people are looking at the recognition and reward that old members had received from the party.

Superior organisation performance results from leadership's ability to resolve dual strategic challenges:

• One facet of this challenge involves *maintaining competitive advantage over rivals* in this 'red ocean' - bloodied by intense rivalry in the political market space that is being served.

Now how do we (NPP) maintain or sustain our members, supporters and sympathizers?

•The other challenge focuses on *creation of an uncontested market space (the blue ocean)* call them the new registered voters, sympathizers, the aggrieved NDC supporters who are yet to align themselves with a political party.

Again is NPP attractive and appealing to these target groups? We no longer attend meetings and even some Constituency Offices are closed down, particularly Dome Kwabenya.

There is no dichotomy in this strategic duality. A successful organization exhibits an 'ambidextrous' approach that is simultaneously aimed at consolidation and entrepreneurship.

We should stop this one sided politicking and address the internal problems of NPP or else, we should forget the 2028 elections.

It is not so important to build a political strategy around the mistakes of your opponent. Let us rather get ours as key and only take advantage of the weaknesses of opponent.

Most people have adopted - Mee Cats behavior - to the conflicting issues from the thank you tour - by not responding to whatever is happening, because it is not affecting them directly.

They are the *"I don't care type' in politics who only understand politics as social groups.* You see, you are like the cat in this game, only waiting to milk the glory. Such people are controlled by others who are told to keep quiet to issues. They are cowards and will die many times before their death. Leaders who adopt this approach don't go far. NPP have them in numbers.

The wake-up call is now! NPP is not owned but an associated group, they call camps. Be advised, leadership is not ownership, if someone tells you, without him, the party can't win elections again it is a lie.

Not until we speak to the issues and find solutions, the party will remain in opposition.

_Let me acknowledge that an organization's strategic quest for an uncontested market space is metaphorically describe by *Kim & Mauborgne as seeking out the 'blue ocean'* which form the caption of this article._
