His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the immediate past Vice President of Ghana and 2024 Presidential Candidate of the NPP, has donated GHC 100,000 to Mr. Bernard Mensah, an NPP Polling Station Officer. Mr. Mensah suffered a near-fatal electrical accident while fixing street light bulbs on electric poles during the 2024 election campaign.

The donation was presented by regional secretary Mr. Takyi Mensah, regional acting chairman Percy, regional treasurer Mr. Asari, and other executives from Twifo Atti Mokwaa constituency. Notably, the acting chairman had previously called Dr. Bawumia to speak with Mr. Mensah, but due to fasting, Dr. Bawumia was unable to visit. He promised to visit Mr. Mensah after the fasting period and assured him of assistance whenever needed.🙏🙏
