The Savannah Regional Secretary of the NPP, Mr Ayuba Seidu, has told the Voiceless Media in an interview that all those who were appointed to join the elected Regional Executives of the NPP were appointed through consensus and has since been sworn in and introduced to the relevant stakeholders in the Savannah Region.

He indicated that there was a meeting, and all 11 elected regional executives were in attendance, and the appointments were done.

Mr Ayuba Seidu explained that 5 of the regional officers at the tale end of the meeting took official permission to attend to their private activities and the meeting according to him continued as 6 of them who were still seated formed the needed quorum to conclude with the appointments which they did accordingly. 

The  six regional officers who sat throughout the meeting were:

1. The Regional Chairman 

2. Second Vice Chairman 

3. Regional Treasurer 

4. Regional Secretary 

5. Assistant Regional Secretary 

6. Communications officer 

Those who left for other issues at the tale end of the meeting were:

1. Regional Organiser 

2. Regional Women's Organiser 

3. First Vice Chairman 

4. Nasara Organiser 

5. Regional Youth Organiser 

The Regional Secretary has, therefore, dismissed as fake any other communication relative to the appointments.

The letter Chairman Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, aka Professor Kalamonia, wrote  was the only authentic letter and that any other letter did not come from the regional secretary.

He says he  suspects that some saboteurs and elements working against the good of the NPP in the Savannah were behind the circulation of untruth and fake communications and asked that such communications should be ignored and consigned  to the nearest dustbin. 

In another interview, the Savannah Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, aka Professor  Kalamonia, has told the Voiceless media that the appointments were done in transparent and open fashion and peacefully. 

He indicated that some of those who were appointed were also appointed after the last regional executives and stated that it was the reason their appointments went through smoothly.

Those appointed are:

1. PWD Coordinator-  Abdul- Malik Ken Addae from Bole Bamboi

2. Deputy Nasara Organiser- Alhaji Sulemana Mohammed  from Yapei- Kusawgu

3. Issahaku Majeed- Research Officer from Damongo 

4. Legal Officer- Abdul- Latif Bavug ESQ from Daboya-Mankarigu

5. Financial Secretary- Solomon Boronsum from Sawla-Tuna-Kalba

6. Deputy Women's Organiser- Hajia Ubeida Nurudeen from Damongo 

7. Electoral Affairs Officer- Alhaji Ayatolai Seidu from Yapei- Kusawgu 

8. Deputy Organiser- Abdulai Habib from Salaga South

9. Deputy Youth Organiser- Kofi Yaka from Salaga North

10. Special Duties officer- Abdul- Latif Yakubu  Dawuda from Daboya- Mankarigu 

According to the Regional Chairman,  the appointments were done to cover all seven constituencies in the Savannah Region.
