We have witnessed people owning multimillion dollar mansions at palatial enclaves, appeared at vetting to claim they were being taken care of by their industrious wives. 

If just owning personal properties - landed and bank accounts - is now coterminous with criminality, then, these ndc people must pray NPP never came to power.

19years of P(NDC)

In the history of our dear country Ghana, we have had the P(NDC) ruled for 19 uninterrupted years - during which they stole State assets and looted national coffers.

10 out of the 19 years were brutish totalitarian military despotism with no accountability. The remaining 9 were pure pseudo-democracy without checks and balances.

So when we talk of real property acquisition by political actions through naked corruption and wanton looting of State coffers, ndc and its antecedents have no match.

Communication paralysis 

But, because the NPP suffers from chronically debilitating paralysis, vis-a-vis effective communication strategy, ndc always gets away with malicious propaganda.

And whenever I watch my NPP communicators on TV programs - stupidly patronizing their ndc counterparts - it makes my stomach churn with menacing nauseating anger.

Indeed, if anybody in NPP were found to have used his/her position in government to acquire ill-wealth, he/she must be held to account by laid down laws of the country.

Fringes of foolhardiness 

However, just splashing acquired properties of people - in both social and traditional media to baselessly portray them as criminals - borders on the fringes of foolhardiness.

When people are deliberately criminalized, when no court of competent jurisdiction has proven them as such, is coterminous with malicious deadly mob-mentality.

Masking the failure 

The John Dramani Mahama government has failed to deliver on a single campaign promise. So they have deviced a strategy to mask their failure through such diversions.

And since megaphonic cacophony of tagging political opponents as corrupt is easily swallowed by the people, these people have resorted to this narrative.

Openly, ndc communications have been saying that even if they are not able to fulfill any campaign promise but jail NPP people, Ghanaians will be happy.

This, therefore, should be a rude awakening to NPP, particularly the communication wing, to stop the cowardice and exhibit testicular fortitude on TV programs.

Anybody who either lacks articulation finesse or has been compromised and therefore scared of being frontal, should better give way to the unblemished ones 

This ndc strategy of deliberately criminalizing former appointtees of the NPP Administration - if not rebuffed with courage, facts and effectiveness - we perish.

Futality of NPP return to TV3

Finally, I still maintain my position that the NPP decision to resume appearance on Media General platforms - particularly TV3, is very stupid and counterproductive.

One NPP panelist appears on a program with ndc, pseudo-ndc 'afrafranto', prepaid neutral analyst, and unapologetically jaundiced ndc host as Berla Mundi and co.

In the end, the NPP panelist never gets to properly articulate the party's angle of issues, because of deliberate persistent haranguing from such insipidous clowns.

I still cannot wrap my head around why NPP is desperate to appear on Media General platforms, but don't show the same zeal to appear on Wontumi, Net 2 etc.

Could it be that it is on TV3 that my NPP Communicators are happy showing off their beautiful suits and exhibiting impeccability of lovely-crafted foreign accents?
