A National Treasurer Hopeful of the NPP, Dr Issahaku Tahiru Moomin has explained that his dual advantage of being a politician and also a financial and accounting technician gives him the advantage for the job of a National Treasurer of the NPP.

Speaking to the *Voiceless Media* in an interview , the former MCE of the Wa Municipal Assembly explained that his high literacy and knowledge in financial mechanics,  principles, and procedures, together with his political profile has equipped him with the expertise to occupy the position of National Treasurer of the NPP. 

'I am the one the delegates are looking for, "  he said excitedly. 

Dr Issahaku Tahiru Moomin has managed accounts at the GRA, Controller and Accountant General Department, as well as District Assembly Accounts during his tenure as an MCE for 8 years. 

Whilst others are doing what he termed as "bookkeeping" elsewhere , he knows exactly what it means to be a finance person with the expertise to grow money and entities. 

Many NPP faithful who knows Dr Issahaku Tahiru Moomin says he is just the one the party needs at this time to strengthen the finances of the party and to also drive internal fiscal controls and discipline for the benefit of the NPP. 

The National Treasurer hopeful was also a 2 time parliamentary candidate of the NPP in the Wa Central Constituency in 2012 and 2016, during which time he gained extra experience on how to relate with party people positively.
