The Member of Parliament for the New Juabeng South  constituency, Hon Michael Okyere Baafi has promised to take care of the education of any pupil of the  Eva Maria RC JSS in Koforidua who obtains a single digit in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination.

Mr Baafi, who is so passionate about the education of his constituents, made the promise when he visited the school to encourage the pupils ahead of the commencement of their BECE exams. 

He told the pupils to believe in them selves and to approach the exams with confidence and discipline.

Last year, Hon Baafi made a similar promise and has indeed commenced the sponsorship of such students who are currently schooling at Wesley Girls SHS- Cape- Coast, Aburi Girls SHS, the Presbyterian Boys SHS amongst other schools.

His plan is to see such students at the university level. 

It must be explained that aside from the sponsorship package,  Hon Baafi usually takes the students personally for shopping ahead of their studies and also drives them to school when they are to report.

This gesture of the MP has been described as a top-notch treatment to the students, which serves to motivate them ahead of their educational journey.
