A general secretary aspirant of the NPP, Dr Charles Dwamena, has told the Voiceless Media that when elected as the General Secretary,  he would  be a proactive General  Secretary and would  work with all members of his executive committee whether elected or appointed to deliver victory in 2028.

Dr Dwamena, who is also known as Dr. China promised to restore the love to the NPP, which he said was needed at every level of the party as the party works to recapture power in 2028.

Dr Charles Dwamena, who is currently the National Treasurer of the NPP, explained that decisions he would take as the General Secretary would be driven by research to bring the needed results. 

He also promised to be firm and decisive and will have a deliberate itinerary that will enable him travel round the Regions and constituencies to have a first hand experience about the problems facing the smooth organization of the party at the grassroots level.

The General Secretary Aspirant assured that he will not marginalize or sideline any party officer in the prosecution of his work as the General Secretary. 

He also promised to make use of his leadership traits that have made it possible for him to restore financial discipline, accountability, transparency, and openness in his administration as National Treasurer to bring about discipline among the rank and file of the Party when elected as the General Secretary.

Dr Charles Dwamena, as National Treasurer, has brought several innovations to the Party’s Treasury, especially in the areas of dues collection and payments, which has increased the Party’s membership dues IGF by over 10000% from less than GHS 100/ month at the time he took over to the current daily average of over GHS 30,000.00.
