As a practical economist, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia believes in leveraging on digitization as long - term  economic strategy in solving social- economic problems.

In addressing students, academics and the business community at Harvard University, the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia shared his views on how he in turn to transforms Ghana's economy using technology.  In his words he stated that, *" the greatest bane to the development of Africa is our inability to solve the basic problems of the absence of unique identity for our population, functioning property address systems, financial inclusion, payment systems, efficient public service delivery, etc. that underpin our economic activities. For many years after independence we have been trying to transform our economies without data and transparent systems. Without data and systems African countries cannot participate in the fourth Industrial Revolution."*

Dr. Bawumia believes that, technology should be the driving force of Ghana's economy transformation agenda and that his presidency will focus more on Digitisation and also on other smart innovative policies like Gold for Oil to transform the economy.

Dr. Bawumia says it is Possible to transform out economy using technology should he be voted as the President he is going to make it possible.
