A year is but nigh yet not all are lucky to see it. But for the very best of us time is of no essence. Your good deeds are a time transcending legacy, a monument overarching into posterity, a sweet fragrance bottled in a capsule journeying into the future.

For many, our time on earth is but inconsequential and yet for you, the world is better because you are in it.

When the earth completes a revolution around the sun, a year dawns, your beautiful year. But it is not lost on us that years have gone by and years will come by, and with it comes your growing influence, increasing passion for good, greater burden for the youth and an expanding heart filled with patriotism for mother Ghana.

To say you are light years ahead of your peers will just be me clothing your true essence in a cloak of charitable modesty. 

Mr. Sammi Awuku, the generational leader of our time and Director General of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), Happy birthday Sir. I can wax lyrical about you all day and yet no written or spoken language known to man from antiquity to posterity will have enough words to describe you. I wish you a satisfying fulfilled life, a joy overrunning career and most important of all, a long health laden prosperous life.
