I continued my homecoming tour of the North yesterday, with a visit to the Ya Na, Abubakari Mahama II in Yendi. I also called on  Nyelinboligu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana Abdullai, the Regent of Nanumba Traditional Council in Bimbilla, Ubor Mateer Bowon Kwayaja Paramount Chief of Saboba Traditional Council, and the Overlord of Gonja, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, in Damongo.

In Damongo, I was enskinned Konokowulewura, which means, the Chief of Unity.

I am grateful to their Royal Majesties, and their elders, for their continuous support, encouragement, and wise counsel.

I will continue to work for all, for the progress of our dear country.
