In a remarkable display of philanthropy, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah generously funded a transformative program that left an indelible impact on the community.

The week-long initiative commenced with great zeal on a vibrant Saturday, where 217 young ladies were provided with exhaustive screenings encompassing breast cancer, menstrual anomalies, hepatitis B, and various other health-related concerns.

On the ensuing Sunday, mothers were the focus, as they received another day of comprehensive medical screenings, including meticulous breast cancer assessments, rejuvenating body and foot massages, and vital first-aid interventions.

These efforts aimed to bolster their well-being and promote self-sufficiency.

Monday featured an exclusive soap-making training session, enabling a substantial number of women to acquire valuable hand skills and the potential for economic independence.

This thorough training sought to address the multifaceted challenges faced by these women, empowering them for a brighter future.

Tuesday witnessed an exhilarating friendly match at the Yendi town astroturf, where Sankara Ladies FC squared off against Gbewaa Ladies FC. The match electrified the atmosphere, with Sankara Ladies securing an impressive 6-0 victory.

The participants were lauded and received commendable prizes, along with the distribution of essential sanitary pads.

Throughout the week, a diverse array of experts, stakeholders, and over 500 students gathered to partake in enlightening sessions.

They fervently discussed the paramount importance of supporting young ladies and women who aspire to break through societal barriers.

This socio-educational symposium featured a keynote address, which was delivered by the Guest of Honor, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah's representative, Ms. Eleanor Tettey, Director of Business Development and Corporate Affairs at MASLOC-Ghana.

Her speech highlighted the significance of nurturing young women to become valuable future leaders. Ms. Eleanor, along with several other distinguished speakers, eloquently emphasized the need to support women in their endeavors, including prominent figures such as Hajia Alima Sagito-Saeed, Executive Director of SWIDA-GHANA, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Abubakari Yussif, Hajia Lamnatu, Executive Director Songtaba, Rev Pastor Emmanuel Mustapha Chief Executive Officer, Global Mission Resource Center, CAMFED-GHANA, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana, and Golden Inspires Foundation.

The monumental success of this week-long series of events was made possible by the benevolent sponsorship of Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, demonstrating the profound impact that compassionate individuals can have in their communities.

Concluding the week's activities, over 300 women from across the municipality reunited on Thursday for a subsequent round of medical screenings, ensuring their well-being remained a top priority.

Once again, they underwent rigorous breast cancer screenings and received crucial first-aid treatments.

The women expressed their deep gratitude for the brilliant initiative, acknowledging the invaluable provision of proper check-ups.

In this exemplary demonstration of community support, it becomes clear that health is indeed wealth, and empowering women is a cornerstone of sustainable progress.
