Last night, I received with profound sadness, the news of the deaths of Alhaji Lamin Yahaya Iddi and Alhaji Iddi Yahaya Iddi, both sons of the late stalwart of our party, Alhaji Chairman Yahaya Iddi. 

The deceased were both prominent in the affairs of the NPP Northern Region. 

I phoned Ambassador Alhaji Rufai Yahaya Iddi to condole with the Yahaya Iddi family in this difficult period. 

May Allah grant them the patience to bear with the test and admit our departed brothers into Jannah.
